About Mundane Miracle:
- I have wanted to attempt to create my own music since around 2010, but some health issues prevented that. After starting to recover in 2020, I finally downloaded Ableton and went to work. Although many songs have inspired me over the years, Matthew Dear’s 2010 song, I Can’t Feel, really inspired me to attempt to make music. I reached out to Dear shortly after hearing that song to compliment him and ask a simple question about electronic music production. I was surprised that he actually responded. Although my intent was to simply do this for a low level hobby, he provided a timeline for when I could expect to write and release a song, which I never imagined would even be possible. Needless to say, Matthew Dear is my strongest inspiration. Like many other artists in the electro genre, I prefer to keep my identity secret. I feel this enhances my art by allowing me the freedom to express myself without any outside influence. Perhaps one day I will tell my family and friends, but I have no plans currently. Currently, only my wife and a few others know that I make music.
