Born Dionne Taylor, music first grabbed hold of DDTHAGR8 in high school. At first, it
was just a hobby, beginning as casual freestyling sessions with friends for fun. By his early 20s,
however, the hobby had evolved into recording his work in home studios as often as possible.
Influenced by artists like G Herbo, Sauce Walka, Vince Staples, and many more, DDTHAGR8
started carving out his own lane. Helping with a group called Low-Hanging Fruit, DD continued
to learn more about music, marketing, and production. Growing up between different cities and
states in the DMV area and currently based in Denver, CO, DDTHAGR8 was always surrounded
by diversity. His background and versatility come through in his music, a unique mixture of
sound, culture, and experience. After stepping away from music for a couple of years between
2022 and 2024, DDTHAGR8 returned with a renewed vision, a stronger team, and a sharper
sound.
Since then, DD has grown and expanded his brand, backing himself with a following that
believes in his vision. His focus is on increasing his fanbase and taking his show on the road with
