Loraine is a Music Artist and Singer-Songwriter based in Portland, Oregon. She is originally from the Netherlands and grew up in Belgium. At a song-writing workshop in Belgium in 2008 with one of Europe’s best selling/platinum artists Milow, she discovered her talent and passion for song-writing. She has been writing songs ever since inspired by life’s experiences, and her belief in our ability to create and manifest the lives that we truly desire.

Loraine grew up playing clarinet in various orchestras, but her heart has always been with singing in the first place. As a little child she would spend hours in her room singing, dancing and pretending she was on stage performing a show. Her musical background in orchestras has definitely had an influence on melody being at the center of her music, whatever the arrangement or sound. The last years she has mainly been focused on an electronic pop sound. For her new EP, Power from Love, she worked with Germany-based producer, Stella Scholaja, and found a soulful electronic sound that gives the songs of this EP a powerful and sparkling identity.
